• Telephone contact and helpline

• Family support

• Networking and signposting to other relevant agencies

Our Young Peoples Service will be directed towards all young people in our area with an eating disorder in need of support, guidance or treatment. You may already be in transition from child to adult services or wishing to self refer to us for help.

Our service will ensure that you have timely access to relevant support and intervention when you need it.

As well as supporting Young People we offer support to families and friends. Supporting you and your family in relation to your eating behaviour is an integral part of the transition process towards your recovery. It is recognised that educating the client and family about the differences between young people’s services and adult treatment services helps to reduce anxiety about what is expected, as well as helping develop strategies to support the promotion of independence.

The funding for our project has been born from Future in Minds Funding. You can read or download this document by following the link on our Resources Page.
